NSI certification provides reassurance to customers that a KMH Group is reputable and trustworthy and is continuing to work to the relevant industry standards. Their certificate of approval details these standards against which they are approved.

NSI approval is only awarded and retained by those companies able to consistently meet our exacting standards. Standards are periodically updated to accommodate modern technology and working practices. Appointing an NSI approved company provides the peace of mind that your contractor is maintaining its competency in line with the latest practice.

meet all relevant British Standards
provide a high level of staff training and supervision to industry best practice standards

are inspected regularly by NSI auditors to check technical competence with on-site visits and head office management administration

Why NSI Gold?

Gold Approval signifies that in addition to compliance with industry specific Standards, KMH Group operate a Quality Management System and is compliant with BS EN 9001.

Being Gold Approved KMH work to the same industry specific Standards and are subject to independent regular audit by NSI to monitor compliance with those standards.

In the case of NSI Gold Approval, the Quality Management System is tuned to the specific needs of the Security sector. This is as demanding as any Approval in the security sectors in which NSI operates, and recognised by industry, the police, fire and rescue services and insurers, and other stakeholders.

NSI audits require full compliance with standards including elements which are ‘recommended’ codes of best practice. This means customers can be sure of full compliance to standards, not simply lip service.

NSI offers a range of Management Systems Certification covering all of these. The majority of security, fire safety and insurance companies require providers to hold some or all of these Management System Approvals, in addition to Approvals for activity/industry specific Approvals.
